When I park my MINI in the far corner of an empty parking lot to go shopping and return to find a minivan parked right next to me in an empty parking lot....

Limits? Are you talking about those signs with numbers on them? I thought those were suggestions!

I hate when I test drive a car and think "wow I really like it maybe I'll buy it". Then I get in my MINI and realize I have the best car already!

I have to keep reminding myself that these are public roads I'm on, and this is not a race car...

The fact that I am spending all my spare money (and sometimes Not spare) on it instead of getting some much needed work done on my Vette.

HA! The dragons breath.....get it every time after a good wash. Love the looks I get from the cars waiting at the stop light with me.

What do I hate........I hate that it gets dirty so fast :D

The biggest annoyance is that my MINI's performance far exceeds the limits placed on public roads. In reality the annoyance is the insistence of local law officers on enforcing said limits.

The next biggest annoyance is the lack of decent driving roads where I live.

This is an easy fix. Use an electric leaf blower to blow out all the hiding water from lights, grill, mirrors, gas cap, hood scoop. After you get good at air during with the the blower you will only need one small towel to apply a quick dealer spay and dry off the rest.

Remember the less you touch your cars paint with anything the less of a chance it has to get scratched. :ihih:

I was stopped for 62 in a 45, but when I told the trooper I was late for a funeral, he changed it to failure to obey a traffic sign. He said it was only a $30 fine, so it was a big break. When I paid it on line it was $30 alright + $70 court cost!

You're exactly right there Dave... I wished that SUV had never touched my car a couple years back!

I did not like you had to get Run Flats with no real tire options. I burnt off the RunRocks and have never put them back on again. Also without run rocks on the car less thing rattled and the ride was much smoother.

This! So annoying! I generally feel like washing my MINI is a quick process...until I have to deal with water seepage. :(

For the drying/water seepage issue, I use my leaf blower to blow the water out of these areas.

When it rains hard, sometimes the rain will go into my hoodscoop, and turn into steam. It still scares me when it happens.

I've wondered this for 7 years now. Why is 5th gear ( only have 5 gears ) in my Just-a geared so low as to be turning roughly 3000+ RPMs at 70 MPH when my Honda only turned about 2400 RPM which helped it get better gas mileage... Just checked my last 2 tanks of gas and I'm getting 31.5 MPG after 7 years and 132,000 miles. Which is good but could be better if I had the 6 speed or a better overdrive gear ratio. Considering the car only has alittle over 100 HP. I know the lower gearing in the low gears is what gives it it's pep but the overdrive gear should have been higher..

Don't feel bad, the 6 speeds run the same RPM at 70 also. We just have to shift more to get there.......lol
