    Crashton gets the donut. The plastic compartments were clean so I topped off the radiator with water wetter/water and started the car and low and behold, noise is all but gone. Thanks for the prompt answers. Motoring alliance is awesome.

    I'm with Jason on this one. Sounds like water sloshing around in a non-pressure environment.

    :cornut: On your car, under the bonnet, at the fire wall is a plastic compartment that stretches the entire width of the engine bay. The compartment has 2 locking hatches. The hatch on the passenger side covers the battery and the hatch on the driver's covers the brake master cylinder. Make sure that these hatches are intact and snapped shut. Look into the campartment. Water coming from the hood and windshield can get into this compartment if the integrity of the hatches is compromised. Good luck and I hope that this helps.:Thumbsup:

    I'm going to guess you are low on coolant. What you can be hearing is the air in the system moving through the heater core. Best check the coolant.
