Lithium grease is always a good bet.

I just recently used lithium grease on my sunroof and it cured all of it's problems but dirt and dust do stick to it,just wipe everything thing off with a dry rag when it's time to reapply.I have another spray lube called Slide-All(ELmer's brand) which doesn't leave a sticky residue.I don't remember what I used it for so I don't know how well it worked.

Try dielectric grease. It handles the dirt a little better than lithium grease.
