Bon Jovi channel on Sirius (Bon Jovi Radio - The Greatest Bon Jovi Music 24/7 - SiriusXM Radio) as well as the requisite Jimmy Buffett.

 

For the trip around the block to make sure the wheels didn't fall off from the swap to summer tires I heard Bing Crosby "Easter Parade"

 

Heard "all over the world" I think by ELO? Great song to drive to !

 

New Music App Compatible with MINI Connected

I decided to download and check out the Aupeo App which is now compatible with MINI Connected. It's a music streaming app so it's like Pandora. It has an interesting interface with a genre option and a "mood" option. So, you can choose your genre and then the "mood" of your genre (ie: Pop>Calm or Pop>Dance, etc...).

I'm still experimenting with it so i don't have too much to say about it yet. I have noticed a lot bands/musicians that I am not familiar with - which is kinda nice because if I want the usual suspects, I'd just turn on Sirius. But, there is something nice about having a good mix of usual suspects and newbies via Pandora! More to come.

I ran over some Road Apples today...

Listened to Steely Dan, quite a bit of it too. All the way to Mid-Ohio for the races and back home.

 

I gotta load up the old iPhone so I can play some of my music in the car. I'm so sick of regular radio. Yay! Got my sirius activated. Now I can listen to some grateful dead cranked up on the way home from work.

 

I don't care for mainstream radio either. So I burn a lot of mixed cds. On this morning's commute I listened to my "Gothic" one.

 

I listened to reruns of Howard Stern this morning, and on the way home it will probably be some Grateful Dead.
