I just got some Nitto Neogens, and they stick real good in both wet and dry conditions

Looks like the Nitto's won't work for me, as they don't seem to have a 205/45/17.

I'm using the OEM 15" holies that came on the car. I have had no issues in wet conditions, even going hard into tight twisties. I recently was on the highway in a downpour, roadway had a couple of inches of standing water, and things stayed very stable. I have broke the back end lose in standing water going hard into a downhill turn, with the road sloping away. But I grew up using the e-brake to drift around corners in the snow

I had a set of Nitto's and I thought they were a excellent value. Incredibly sticky and very predictable performance wise.
My only issue with them is they wear out pretty quickly. Granted I consider myself a 'spirited' driver, some would say 'nuts', but we'll save that for a diff day. I got about 20-25K out of them which for performance tires with the UTOQ ratiing they have is not bad.
I'm running a set of General Exclaim UHP's right now. I don't like them as well as the Nitto's performance wise but they supposedly have greater treadwear. I've had them since Feb of this year so the jury is out.
Next up I'm thinking Bridgestone or another set of Nitto's -

You're thinking they may be a special order, in that case?

heres a very good option from Bridgestone in your size. $106 from Tire Rack
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport -
There is a column in the link I posted, any tire mfg will have it, that states the range of widths of wheel their tires will fit

Phydeaux, what are you going for here?
What's important to you? Fuel mileage, wet grip, track performance, long tire wear, cost, size.........what are your priorities?
Once you have that sorted out, it's easier to make a recommendation.
I wanted really quiet, really smooth yet grippy tires. I was prepared to give up some long term wear, but they also had to be all-season, and I didn't want to spend Michelin money, even tho I'm a Michelin fan......I bought Kumho Ecsta ASX in a 215/45 -17 and they have been brilliant! I got right at 30K on them and they're at the wearbars now......I was doing quite a few track events then, now I'm only doing one or two a year, so I may look at the new Conti DWS, they are supposed to be a 50K tire......or I'll go back to the Kumhos.
