I used to say that. I carried a donut spare with me anyway. One night in the middle of nowhere I was glad to have that donut with me. Stuff happens.

If I get a flat I will just drive on it.

It gives me an excuse to tell the wife. " Sorry honey I got a flat tire chewed up the tire and rim. I need to buy a whole new set of rims and tires.":confused5::aureola::devil:

Yeah like thats going to work...:lol::lol::lol:

I think adding the race jack will add unnecessary weight... plus that thing will shift around.
It's small, but the little bottle jack that comes with the car does the trick in a pinch

And stop giving away all your gun secrets people!!!!! :incazzato:
You want people to be surprised, right?

Well, I already have the flat tire kit, and I keep the jack and everything it came with in it still.

    Um, credit card yes.
    Ice chest no.
    Phone yes.
Fire arms? This is too personal to answer

I guess I was meaning are their answer tools specific to the MINI? When I had my Jeep Chrysler went nuts with torque screws.

    BTW- this is entertaining

:cornut: If the situation can't be solved with the above; it becomes a squad(12 men/women) problem and one pulls out Dave O's cell phone or the hand held Ham Radio to call in the troops. One might also consider a brief tactical retrograde to confer with God.

Spare tires are overrated. I don't remember the last time I had a flat tire, it was probably more than twenty years ago.

Not a bad point... but I live for the element of surprise.

Isn't that one reason why the MINI rocks?
No one realizes how fast they are until they try and keep up with you

My dad is a muscle car guy, as am I, but typically he is only impressed by big power and loud noises. I let him drive my Mini and just to hear and see how much fun he had was a delight. He actually cannot get over how fast it is.

I've had tools in the car since I started driving. I really need them for my first couple of cars. Now all the cars I'm responsible for have tools in them; my wife's and both my son's and mine. They also know how to use them.

Both my boys have had to make use of their's already this year.

I also include gloves, flash light, and an old shirt.

I keep the OEM jack kit
A Spare Tire (on long trips)
    Slime
    A portable Compressor
    Flashlight
    Knife
Rainex and 0000 Steel Wool for the windshield
    Road Flares
    Emergency Blankets (they're small)
    A small multi-tool

And most important of all, a Towel. You gotta know where your Towel is.

Most of these items fit in that small compartment on the right side of the boot.
