I always carry survival gear with me all the time. H&K USP .40 compact, Zero Tolerance ZT350 assisted folder, gallon jug of water, jumper cables/jump box, jack, coolant, wallet, iphone, and music.
Me, I carry a AAA + Membership for long trips on the flatbed, Allstate Towing coverage for short trips on the flatbed, Credit Card and an iPhone with Chad on speed dial.
If I get a flat I will just drive on it. It gives me an excuse to tell the wife. " Sorry honey I got a flat tire chewed up the tire and rim. I need to buy a whole new set of rims and tires.":confused5::aureola::devil: Yeah like thats going to work...:lol::lol::lol:
Funny you should mention the 1911 as I keep mine with me and can throw the M-4 and 20 mags in! I have a mini air compressor and basic hand tools. I need to get a bottle of slime as I can't get even a doughnut in there (battery back there). And am going to get a 1 1/2 ton aluminum Race Jack to put in the boot. I also carry jumper cables and keep a S&W Extreme Tactical Tanto folder and a Mini Mag flashlight and tire gauge and valve stem tool so I can pull the valve stem core to add Slime.:cornut:
I think adding the race jack will add unnecessary weight... plus that thing will shift around. It's small, but the little bottle jack that comes with the car does the trick in a pinch And stop giving away all your gun secrets people!!!!! :incazzato: You want people to be surprised, right?
A popular thread on the MetroplexMINI site (Dallas, TX area) was "Where do you keep your gun in the MINI". I always got a laugh out of that.
Of course but I also like people to fear me, if you're stupid enough to come after me then that's on you.
Forgot about the tire pressure gauge, and the first aid kit.. it's in there as well.. My boot is kinda full with these and the others stuff I mentioned earlier, plus there is an 8'' Bazooka sub in there..
Not a bad point... but I live for the element of surprise. Isn't that one reason why the MINI rocks? No one realizes how fast they are until they try and keep up with you
My dad is a muscle car guy, as am I, but typically he is only impressed by big power and loud noises. I let him drive my Mini and just to hear and see how much fun he had was a delight. He actually cannot get over how fast it is.
The only tools I have is what came stock in my Countryman...things I have added are my tools for the gym...weight belt, knee wraps, wrist wraps, straps and Ipod...
The duct tape is a good idea.. but I'm getting feeling lately that zip ties are the new duct tape?
:cornut: Don't get that WD40 anywhere near the ammo! It can deactivate the primers and powder.:eek6: Jason
