My last name has TULL in it.. and my friends in grade school started calling me Tuls (tools)... so I added the umlat to make it more specific to the pronunciation.
Soon after the South Park episode where Timmy find his Turkey Gobbles, my friend started calling me Jabbles. Of course he say it just as Timmy would. It soon became Jabz in real life but online I kept Jabbles.
Well my first name is Max, and the "Aero" part comes from the days when I drove Saabs, the Aero moniker being the higher performance models. The name has just stuck, never needed a need to change it.
Well...my last name is Tickle so I've been called Tick since grade school. Not many of us in the US, if you know someone else with the last name of Tickle they are probably a relative. I found out the origin of the name while we were living in England
Mine's pretty simple.... The kitty half is for my obsession with Hello Kitty... that, and I have 4 cats  The MINI part is, well, you guessed it, I love my MINI. It could also be for the fact that I am only 5 feet tall as well
I'm in law school and everything I read has something to do with someone versus someone else. Plus, when I first eyed a MINI afterwards I'd compare it to about everything else on the road
I started using the name OctaneGuy before I was in the car business. In the late 1990's, I developed a line of energy products called simply "Octane". As many people know, my father is a "famous" chemist and he has spent a lifetime helping other people make money, so I joined the family business to help US make some money. That lead to Octane Re-energizing Gel and was being sold world wide. Whenever I'd go visit a retailer, they would say "Hey there is the Octane Guy!". You can still find this product today in the favorites of ThinkGeek.com Richard
Self explanatory, Norm = First name, 03S = is what I got. Now if it's motorcycles you would see NormGS750 or trucks norm.........
JC55MINI JC are my initials/nickname 55 is close to the center of the number line (some user names need combos of number and letters) MINI - because I have one
MD-IN-UK. I've been asked if I'm a doctor, if I live in Maryland, etc. It's simple, the car is made in the UK.
My name is Paul, there are only MiNis at our house, 2 Minis, 2 MINIs, hence paulsminis 67 Austin Cooper S "Coop" 68 Morris Mini Traveller, "Woody" 07 MCS, "KERMEE" 09 Clubman S, "M&M"
Man I'd like to be as creative as some of you gals/guys. "Bimmer Lite" is the column I write. It's a play on the fact that the MINI is a small BMW (please argue about this point elsewhere) and the relatively fun nature of the column. I had lots of great ideas for a different name when I took it over in '07, but they were all summarily dismissed. I'm actually thinking of getting some "BMRLITE" plates for the MINI. That's Bimmer pronounced like "glimmer," you know, the right way. Beamer = BMW motorcycle. You can find me on other MINI and BMW boards as mbcoops. mb = me, coops = cooper S. Not creative, just thought it looked cool. - Marc
It is my car's name ... she is my MINI She Devil ... took about 9 months of owning her to really get to know her well enough to realize her true name ... of course there is a bit of Angel in her as well .... but the devilish side of her is really fun to play with on the twisties!!
After seeing new member 'ScoopthePoop' thought I would give this a bump to get the story behind this and some of our other newer members online handles. Allright FNG's, bring it on!
