Same here, it is the way I sign things. I use to use "Ruthless 030", which was the call sign for my helicopter in Viet Nam, but it seemed to draw too many strange responces.

Well, waaaaaaaaayyyyy back in the day, I saw a PacSun commercial. It had a bunch of video clips of people doing crazy sh*t. It would show a split second of someone doing something, then pause and display a "phobia" and then display the meaning. I forget the first couple I saw in the commercial, but the last clip stuck in my head. It was a guy surfing this HUGE wave (must have been at least 20 feet high) and then it paused and said "Panaphobia: The Fear of Everything" and I thought that was hilarious! So I looked up the definition of it before Al Gore invented the internet, and found the description of it to be 'a medical condition known as a "non-specific fear" or "the fear of everything" and is described as "a vague and persistent dread of some unknown evil",' and I just thought that was awesome. And so I always used the handle "panaphobic" for everything from Ancient Anquish (Telnet) to AIM to Xbox Live to MINI forums and everywhere in between!

Eeewwwwww! Gonna watch you more closely from now on!

Before we met Rick always called a cute girl a tater. Along the way I morphed into TaterChick or T8r. Now if I get called by my real name I know I'm in trouble!!

My name is Ted, but in school I went by Teddy (my son goes by Little Teddy now). Instead of calling me Teddy Bear, my older brother called me Cubby. Must be from the Mousketteers...... My license plate reads CUBSR50, and people are always asking me if I'm a Cubs fan! LOL.........and I have to break it down for them.

My first MINI had white checks on the roof so I simply went with CHKMINI (checked-mini). To keep with the name, I had ghost checks painted on the roof of my Dark Silver '09 JCW. Over time, and do mainly to being pimped by everyone who didn't know what it meant (it was previously my license plate #), it has transformed to CHICK MINI :mad2:

WMWNY is short for "Welshmen Will Not Yield", the title of a Welsh Battle Hymn.

Since I am of Welsh descent, and since my Cooper is a Silk Green MINI with the Welsh flag on the roof, I call it the Welsh MINI. Thus, the nickname fits, as well. :cornut:

I was late getting into CB radios (being in Navy over seas) I had a hard time getting a good handle until one day drving down the road and a fly was buzzing my face. Yes my CB handle was the Spanish Fly but when I got into computer my son took over the handle and I was out again until I got a job at a self mini storage. It had a elec gate everyone was always trying to sneak thru without putting in a code so I became the gatekper. AND YOU THOUGHT IT HAD TO DO WITH THE GHOSTBUSTERS MOVIE

Then I would have to call you Gozer.......

'Gozer the Gozerian? Good evening. As a duly-designated representative of the City, County and State of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin, or to the next convenient parallel dimension'

Numerous decades ago, a good friend had just finished UC Davis and moved to Southern California to take a job with an aeronautical engineering company. Friday nights the group would get together to kick off the weekend and on one of my visits to LA, I joined in. I quickly discovered that no one used their "given" names and they simply would not let me get away without having a nickname myself. The names that they were offering up were horrific and so we grabbed the newly published "Preppy Handbook" and flipped through the pages. It was decided that I would be dubbed Kiki. The name stuck.

Not too long after I was needing to select a screen name for a site that I was joining. I am an avid (or is that rabid) Disneyland fan and have a passion for Mickey Mouse. I decided that my screen name would be Kikimouse. Alas the name was taken, as was Kikimouse 1 through 33. I was not about to be Kikimouse34 so I typed in Kikimowse and, as they say, the rest is history. Now when I need to spell "Mouse", I really have to think twice about how to spell it correctly!

When I adopted my MINI, I originally thought that it was a boy. Any of the names that I tried out just did not seem to fit. Shortly thereafter, my sister adopted a 2008 coop and when my 2007 cabrio was parked next to her 2008 coop, I just knew mine was a girl and her name was MINImowse.

My nickname in high school was either "Speed" or "Nitro" I have always had some form of NOS (Nitrous Oxide) on most every internal combustion engine operating my Boat,Cars and Motorcycles. On the Super Shop Funny Car Program during events I was always called "Nitro" for the Nitromethane used in the engine. When I raced my Super Gas Camaro I was called "Alky" or Nitro because I ran straight Alcohol (Methanol) and a very complex NOS system. So when I had to choose a name to use on MINI forums I choose Nitrominis. The Nitro represents the lbs. of NOS I use in my MINI.

Did not know the tradition of naming a MINI when I bought the car --
When the the SA asked what I was going to name it --

I was thought "name the car" -- wow this guy is a little extreme ?

But my wife replied quickly "M!nn!e" and explained that I was a "Mickey" collector (mostly Sorcerer Mickey) and the car was Mickey colors, Red and Black so this is Rons M!nn!e!
