I am planning a trip to Deals Gap at the beginning of spring. :cornut: Hopefully I will have my suspension mods done by then.......
Nathan it is funny you say that, When I used to ride Sport Bikes, My friend's and I used to practice on a Clover Leaf.... I had a Hayabusa and a GSXR1000.
My fiances Corolla got 186mph.... Not really but we left it on there lol. Its funny when they misread
Oh my God!!! How can you stand it? :frown2: Been to Florida once. I was in a Mountain town called Mt Dora. Very nice at a dizzying elevation of 184 feet. They billed themselves as the highest place in Florida. It was a nice town that we enjoyed. Loved the mountain air. Come to Ohio guys we have hills & turns...
lol.. on the Dragon.. you only use 2nd and sometimes 3rd!! My garmin is partial to the wife!! The stupid thing only goes to 135 in my MINI !! Yet 153 in the wifes 330i !! whats up with that?? I'm goning TOM TOM!! LOL Just me............................. Thumper
You guys have brave souls. I don't dare do anything like that around here. I value my license and bank account too much. I did manage to mash the OMG button and the gas pedal in the new ride at the same time last Sunday around 1 a.m. The HUD flashed close to 130 really fast. I dropped the speed really quick. The CHP station was only a few exits away and I never know when they come and go.
Not to hijack the thread "But" 180 MPH in my 98 Corvette The top I got on My 2009 JCW was 151 by the speed-o-meter which probably was a real 148/149 On Daytona Speedway (Not the Street)
We borrowed the kids Garmin from his 07 MCS when we went to Boston to work that stop for MTTS. I was scrolling through and saw 119. I called and asked if he wanted to explain. He respectfully declined. Guess I raised a pretty smart kid!
LOL, I never thought about that . I need to check my kids Garmin.. Hopefully he is not an Idiot like his Father. ut:
On my Garmin, 345 mph...registered several weeks ago leaving Chicago after the big snow storm...ha ha, taken from our corporate TBM850 turbo prop with a slight tailwind. Now...in my '09 JCW, the top speed is 70 mph..."honestly officer"
I threw my Gamin across the yard and got 27 mph. I think it would have gone faster, if it didn't tumble! Dave p.s. The landing in the grass didn't hurt it.
I'm pretty sure that those of us trying to keep up with a certain MINI head honcho saw speeds in (or near) triple digits
The group I was in never saw a single LEO. That was the surreal part of the whole thing. Not to mention we went through 2 states on a road that gets patrolled quite heavily. Or it did, last time I visited my sister, who lives on the road in question
Fastest I've seen is 120 Mph borrowing a friends GPS. in my '10 MCS. Front straight of Willow Springs International Raceway.
