From what I understand, DME encryption in the 2012s is of a newer generation (basically military grade encryption), and will be a bear to break. I'm sure that at some point, there'll be a product for your car, but as of now, there's not much. If you are feeling daring, there is a method on some DMEs where you short out a couple of pads on the printed circuit board to bypass the security. I have done it on earlier R56 cars, but it's no small deal: opening the DME case requires a healthy dose of heat and patience. It's not without risk.
At this point, focus on improving the handling, braking and tire grip on your track rocket.

NM-engineering and Evolve Automotive can tune the N18 engine ECU, at the time and expense of you shipping your ECU to them. But now, I thought the 2012 might still have the N14? For your "street racing" you can get a lot more bang for your buck just practicing. Power is always the last thing you need. There is always room to improve as a driver. You can't buy experience.

New Jersey Motorsports Park for one
Englishtown has a road course too
It's also not that far form a bunch of other tracks in the region such as Summit Point, Pocono, Monticello and for the more intrepid, Watkins Glen and VIR.
Might I remind you M/A is a positive place. Not all posts and threads should be met with derision.-

Here is a link to that other MINI forum, with a lot of information about tuning the N18 engine.

If "on-road" means road tracks, I hope you find what you need.
If "On-road" means on surface streets that normal people drive to work on, I hope you wreck your car before your next "event" and learn a lesson. -

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt on that as well, but road courses in NJ aren't ringing a bell lol.

yes, understood. I just read "on road racing" not "track days" and got a bit annoyed.

N2MINI MINI of the Month
This just one of the reasons that the younger crowd is shying away from MINIs as they are becoming non "turner cars" I think MINI is missing the boat by making a car that hardly anyone can tinker with, engine and ECU wise.

I really don't like when a manufacturer designs something so anti-modification. Sort of like the second gen stereo setup. It's not impossible to swap, not even the hardest I have dealt with, but it's not simple or friendly. Especially if you don't know what you're doing.
