I had a total brain fart, and couldn't believe I forgot about Eastbound and Down! That show is so funny! I had to go back and edit my post.
Not in any particular order, here's a sample: American Pickers American Chopper (Although, Senior's an A** Bag) Pawn Stars (See ya in Vegas Boys) Ghost Hunters Man v. Food Top Gear Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares Nearly anything on Speed The Man Show... Sadly no longer :beer There's more I'm sure, but not all our time's spent in front of the tube...
Eureka Due South Flashpoint All gone now, so I need a dish that will pick up the networks in Canada. Jim
Then you can watch Trailer Park Boys, Corner Gas, and Don Messer's Jubilee [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8raOyte8SzQ]YouTube - Don Messer[/ame] Mark
Not sure if it fits the category of a "cable" program, but I want to mention Castle just to encourage everyone to watch it at least once. I firmly believe it has the best writing of any TV program in at least the last 10 years...even better than Firefly (which interestingly also starred Nathan Fillion). My list: Castle Kitchen Nightmares American Pickers Mythbusters Bridezillas (ok, I'm wierd) NCIS (used to be higher on my list) .
Anyone watch "Men of a Certain Age"? Great show, new season starts Monday night.....Andre Braugher, Scott Bakula and Ray Romano as guys going thru their middle aged crisis - part of it takes place at a Chevy dealership..... I also used to like watching "Corner Gas", kind of a Canadian version of Northern Exposure with a quirky cast and and odd, offbeat sensibility. Wonderful show once you learn the characters and their backgrounds.... And don't laugh, but I like watching "Project Runway" with my wife - along with "What Not to Wear" and "Say Yes to the Dress" - what can I say, it's estrogen night on the TV! She pays me back by watching F1, 10 or 20 other car related shows and football.
If they buy me breakfast & lunch, plus let me drive their truck I'll take them to my secret MINI Moke. :ihih:
