Both wheels have a similar design but I find the OZ's are a bit more ubiquitous in the MINI realm. For that reason only I'd go with the Enkei RPF1 if it was my choice.

kinda hard to tell from picture details, better shots?
As I usually state in these "please people of wide and varying tastes what do you think I should do" types of posts......What do you want?
If you got a preference I'll validate for you if you like. Let me share a example 'Hey KiityMini those X wheels look just wicked awesome!!!' -

I'll second Nathan's reasoning....I'm always looking for something less "common." Up close and personal though, I also prefer the look of the RPF1s for the smoother lines of the spoke shape and the uninterrupted rims. They're also slightly lighter, but not by much. Don't know what size you're after, but using 17x7 just for a comparison I found 14.6 lb for the RPF1s and 15.3 lb for the Ultraleggeras.
2 cents....or less, adjusted for inflation -

Different than your colors, but for reference:

Enkei RPF1

ahh much better
The Enkei's. The OZ's are cool but seem to be pretty prevalent out there
Double check the fit with your dealer of choice. Nothing worse than finding what you want, order em', and find out they don't fit. I did it twice!
From my drawn out wheel odyssey
4X100 bolt pattern
14mm Lug
56mm hub
40-45mm offset
I got a 18X7.5 and at 7.5 they were pretty flush with the fenders/arches
One of my choices was 8.5 wide and if you like your wheels to stick out from the fender that would be a good choice
Good luck! -
I'm leaning toward to Enkeis..... but saw the OZ's and started 2nd guessing myself.
I am probably still going with them.... but I'm glad I posted and heard all of your thoughts.
And as for tires...... well, I guess that's another thread
Oh shoot, just saw the "Wheels, Brakes and Tires" Forum section. My bad :blush2:

Of course there are few 7.5 inch rims out there. They do look good when they are on the car.

I vote Enkei, I don't know why but I like their look better.

The thing with Enkei is it looks like every other 6 star dual spoke wheel. If that's what floats your boat it's fine. I ran a set for a bit myself. A bit of a PITA to clean, but not as bad as some.
As outside of the 22+ inch truck tires there are very few new designs out there I personally am starting to lean towards a cleaner five spoke look. -
As far as tires you will find that there are about as many opinions about what tires you should get as there are MINI's out there. ALOT!
Good place to start is TireRack. They have some good educational info on what tire sizes are and why, what different grades of tires, etc. They don't carry everything but a good starting point. Discount Tire is very good as well.
Keep in mind any online price does not include installation and your local shop will charge to do so if you don't buy from them. Some folks go cheap to Walmart or others go to more experienced tire shops. I always say you get what you pay for.
Good luck! -

Both nice, I lean towards the OZ.
Another option is to get a set of 09 Challenge wheels someone is selling.
Just a thought to muddy the water. Of course the Challenge wheels are not light, if your going to track your MINI.

The OZ's look bigger because the spokes slant away from each other. The opposite effect makes the Enkei's look smaller in person. I'd vote for the OZ wheels, even though they're more popular. I see them on BMWs at the track a lot, too.

Thanks gang....
Funny, if my current TD's were black, I'd probably keep them.
Still not sure, but I have some time before I purchase. Not taking the summer sneakers off for a couple of months yet..... and I have all winter.
