I got rid of my run flats.... Much nicer ride... I don't carry a spare and I have NO FEAR.....
Because I carry a tire inflation kit that includes sealant... $20.00 at Walley World...:D
Granted it will only patch slow leak nail punctures.... But I have never had a tire blowout...
And if you are worried about being stranded some dark lonely night.... The kit doesn't require removing the wheel... So you'll end up being back on the road much quicker than doing the jacking exercise...

I have run 215-45-17s and 17x7 BBS R99 wheels on my R53 for the past three years. I've had no problems what-so-ever and I have dropped the suspension with TSW springs as well... The little roadside emergency tire kit is all I carry.

    To help you out.

I would recommend a 17x8 with an offset around +30 to +35. These could run a 215/45 or 225/45 among other sizes.

With that do not see you rubbing.

I have a 17x8.5 +20 and without some serious camber I wouldnt recommend it to people unless you like poke. ( i am able to tuck it)

Just waiting for Discount Tire to call and say my wheels have arrived. I am getting 17x7 Drag DR-23's, and Nitto Motivo 215-45-17. I plan on pushing the install until Friday afternoon, even though they may arrive Wednesday. This is so I can test them out friday night motoring around for hours with no particular place to go.
