Here is a little bit from the GP meet!

I found the same thing Jim. Maybe folks were scared away by talk of MINI's clogging the roads & their owners clogging the restaurants. Looked like fewer folks than last year to me also.

Heck Jim we agreed on something. :cornut:

 

I'm beat...the drive home was brutal. There was a lot of traffic. Only had a short stretch where cruise control could be used. Otherwise it was dodge the left lane bandits all day. Arrghh...

Glad I took Monday off too, I need a day to recuperate from my vacation.

 

This is truly a day, that will go down in history, my friend.

The internet connection is slim to none there, got too frustrating to try and do much with it.

It was an amazing week. Awesome weather, fun runs on the Dragon and organized runs, Vendor row was hopping.

I can't wait to work through all of my pictures

 

All those folks did not show up. On Saturday, I believe, the count was 900 at registration. I drove the Dragon on Saturday at 11:00am and saw two minivans, one truck and not a single MINI. Vendors row was never crowded and it seemed like fewer folks then last year. There wasn't even a line at breakfast.

The count was higher than that. 1115 registered. When I last counted there were 120 left in the box. So 995 came through registration.

I know I sold at least 15 registrations at the "door" too.

I also know of at least 30 some people that do not register. Plus, for the most part the Vendors and their staff are not on the reported registration totals.

A little off topic but one question with this pic. How did you all remove the barriers in the road to take this pic? Just wondering because I have always wanted a shot like that. It is a really great photo.
