I have an '08... Love it! Really don't wanna do anything to it, because I am already on borrowed time for a speeding ticket in the little ICBM...

If you have an R50 with a JCW Tuning Kit, then you are the first I've read about other than my own. My 2004 JCW Cooper has JCW Tuning Kit #475.
And I just got a second JCW:

Hey man, i've just jumped on board to the Mini family. Its a '09 Mini Hardtop JCW. fully stock. No mods at the moment. want to get the payments out of the way and then i'll consider some upgrades. Any tips on keeping it up on tip-top performance?????
By the way love all the other JCW on this thread. Send me a message or something.Attached Files:

I will have to admit I did not know there was any such thing as a R50 JCW, it just doesn't sound natural. :eek6: Was it comparable to a R53 in cost or HP? :confused5: What was there to gain by going the R50 JCW route? :skep: -

Some badges and around 10BHP more which I bet would not be a big difference. In my case I went the Faux JCW to allow more modifications in my rally class then add a 5:1 final drive and you have one damn quick R50.
It would be nice to hear from a JCW R50 and R50 owner for a performance comparison. I'd love to do a side by side test against an R50 or even R53
