    Well just let me put it as simple as I can this is BS! Its not my play ground its Nathan's so he gets to make the call. Dave can be a pain but he is helpful and his bark is worse then his bite. I can't count the times he has helped me. Has he been wrong in what he has said before sure, but so have we all.

    I really wish people could put their BIG BOY pants on. If you like your car DEFIND it. Have some fun throwing rocks back at people like Dave and me that thing the R53 is the best car on earth. All of you know I like seeing what people do to their Minis, from classics to F56.

    I guess it was ok for Ryefile to be a jerk to Dave and be a prick on another thread to the rest of us. But I guess Dave should have not answered him.

    I view Nathan and Dave both as friends. You two need to fix this crap.

    Its a Car forum for crying out loud!!

    Yup...
    I don't know how many times a comment by Dave made me smile, or nearly spit my drink out.
    Made many a day a bit brighter....
    Abrasive, perhaps, but once you understood it was all in good fun, it made visiting here more fun, and IMO more friendly...frankly even though I never met him, I bet I would have lived having a couple beers with him. Just like Dave, I have realized MINI is what it is...I loved my r53, the newer ones, not do much...
    I can only think of the irony here...
    It has become impossible to get bannd on NAM since there are no more mods, and the "friendly site" bans one of its biggest users....the "corporate site" goes wildwest, and the little site that was where refuge becomes more corporate? Inquiring minds wonder...

    Maybe I have said too much, and the reality is, we can never know the whole story as to the banning...
    But I for one have taken off my rose colored glasses.

    Sorry, but he pooped on every F56 thread. This is supposed to be the friendly site, which means it should be inclusive to all MINI models and their owners. Just go elsewhere and see the number of F56 posts as compared to here. I think that's a direct result of the generally negative attitude expressed in every thread here. If you don't like the new models okay, but let those that do enjoy them without having to withstand a constant barrage of ridicule.

    Everyone should enjoy their car. Dave could get out of hand so I am not defending every thing he has done,but most new people misunderstood his sarcasm.
    Look I have a big problem with the direction BMW is taking Mini but that does not mean I can't enjoy seeing what F56 people have done to there car. I am not going to rehash a bunch of junk.

    I hope Dave is back one day,but for now he is not. I don't like it. Some will like it, that's fine we can all have our oppinions.

    Let's just drop it and move down the road. I hope MA gets back to the place it once was, but that's up to us isn't it?
