    Soooo genik...

You ask for a lot of help here and over a lot of other forums.... And you get lots of feedback at least from M/A members.....

You know.... pluralism, polyphony, diversity..... Yeah all that stuff.....

Are you really going to buy a $500 gauge that would be complicated to install on a MINI engine.... Get Craven to modify a stock mount for you....

All this... When you seem to have just about everything going wrong with your MINI...

No worries, I won't ask the same question of you over all the other forums....You know.... pluralism, polyphony, diversity..... Yeah all that stuff.....:D

    Lots of options...

In no praticular order or recomemdation. These are all availble from multiple sources most likely. it is appricatted if you support those that support M/A and buy from a Site Sponsor.

Craven - Vent Gauge Pod for R56 MINI Cooper

Craven Again - MINI FlexPod Brackets - CravenSpeed Online You would need a pod too.

Outmotoring - MINI Cooper Gauge Bracket Kit Cravenspeed MINI Cooper Gauge

I know almost all the site sponsors are also Craven dealers too, It's damn good stuff, and I don't usually endorse any product.

Make your own like MetalMan ...

    62 mm?

We carry a 60mm and we used to offer a 66mm, but i have not come across a 62 yet. We might still have some good ideas for you if you are interested.

Are you really going to spend $500 on a gauge when you have so many other problems going on with your MINI....

Not sure I get it either :confused5: If the guy wants to buy a $500 gauge, let him.....I'm sure we have ALL spent money where other people thought we shouldn't, but?

Back to his question.....have you just Googled "62mm gauge pod"? Seems they are popular on the Asian cars.......

Well I would place the gauge in the trash can because GReddy stuff is for JDM cars.

You can shop around and buy better, after all the other issues with your car are fixed.

Oh and we are all older and wiser than you and our cars run great.

    Genick....
    My suggestion....
You can ask a million questions....
But all boards are productive based multiple inputs....
    Not just multiple takers....
I think if you post, helping folks, Not only asking for help...the tone of the conversation will be better....
You are in danger of being "that person"....
Your " Polly" tactics might have unintended results.....so to be friendly I am going to suggest you become part of the community, rather than just a taker or information collector/aggregator......
    Good luck.

Everybody has different areas of expertise where they can help others and contribute. Never said you had to help with cars....
Just only see you posting asking for help...never offering it..
Thought maybe you had some experience with the part in question from a prior car ownership experience, etc....some folks know tech...some law...some selling...some just life..
Engaged users as opposed to drive by posters are how boards survive...
And posting the same post in 10 places means one can only check your own threads, not be a person on those boards that folks get to know....
If you don't get what you need, cross posting to another forum makes sense!! Nothing wrong with it....
Not trying to be scarastic....just trying to help you be one of "the gang" as opposed to a drive by outsider! Sure we sometimes have irreverent banter....but sometimes that is what can make forums fun! Those extra smiles, the ocassional giggle, Can really brighten a day that just sucks cause the car is acting up....
And sorry about misspelling your user name...auto correct can suck!!

I have been looking and looking. I can't see what it comes with to assist you in mounting. I see that meat foot in some photos but i can't see how it attaches. It seems likely that you could use that foot to attach it to one of our brackets if you were interested in mounting it near the tach.
