Brakes Wheels 1st Gen Tires Which Brake pads do you use ?

    Akebono Ceramics + I learned to drive better and use less brakes to keep the speed and momentum up.

    Better tires also are a HUGE help because you can have any big brake kit or pads but if your tires have no grip all bets are off.

    I forget what I am using. Whatever are they are...in the dray when warm. Awesome!! In the cold and wet and cold...SCARY!

    Was using Stop Techs switched to Akebono Ceramics when I added the R56 calipers. Initial bit is better.

    I even have them on the Wife's Mustang GT and they work great.

    Are they better in every way than "Red Stuff" ceramics?

    There seems to be an issue with EBC red stuff pads separating from the backing plates. Until that issue is remedied I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

    Never used the EBC's in any flavor. Way better than the Hawk HPS and HP+ pads that were used before.
