    Hi Welcome to MA!
Also take a look at the front half shaft. If one of the boots is torn and lost all the grease it could make this noise.
Does the sound change when you turn?

I had a Saturn Vue that loved to eat front wheel bearings. One time I thought it sounded like wheel bearings were going to be needed so I bought them in advance of actually checking them out. They checked good but since I had them all ready they were put on and as luck would have it that corrected the problem. So it is possible to think a wheel bearing is good only to find out that may not be the case after all.

Road noise? Check tire age and condition.

Welcome to Motoring Alliance. First thing that comes to mind is a bad wheel bearing or maybe a dragging caliper.

I will check wheel bearing but I have had wheel bearings go in other cars and the noise was not like this. I will also check the tracking

    Hi
We have checked wheel alignment and wheel bearings as well as visually checking everything underneath. Also done all the usual checks, turning braking etc. All OK but the annoying whirr whirr is still there.
It is very noticeable on motorway, we can determine where it is coming from ,it sounds like its coming from everywhere.

If you can try driving at a speed where you hear the sound and go around a long turn, both left and right. Does the sound change when this is done?

@ScottinBend is right I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I have had several tires get old and make road noise.

Wish the OP would have given us a follow up on what he found and if’n he was able to correct the problem.
