Star Specs aren't great @ driving in the rain above 60mph . Plus they wear way too quckly for a car that is driven alot.

According to TireRack ratings and my own experience, Star Specs don't suck in the rain, at speed. As long as they aren't too worn. But yes, they're not great daily driver tires. Conti DW / DWS are. And are also available in 16" sizes. TRUE there aren't as many options in 16" tires. But there are plenty of good ones, for the street. Less for the track.
