I first got introduced to this on the Daily Show. Apparently, the police are so underhanded in Russia, citizens started buying the cameras to prove what did and did not happen during traffic stops....
And as we can see, they pick up all sorts of other things as well!
Actual video of the truck that crashed in Russia, scattering its cargo of gas tanks across a busy highway. 36 of these gas tanks exploded over a period of about 10 minutes. Some of them were even projected like missiles causing a very dangerous situation for onlookers. Fortunately everyone survived, including the driver who quickly ran into the woods.

Not that there is anything wrong with being Russian.....
I'll have a Black Russian and sometimes a White Russian from time to time after a hard day at the office.... It really smooths out the evening.....:ihih:
Conversely, I was wondering - if that gas tank truck accident happened on a US urban freeway, would all the following vehicles stop without hitting the one in front?
I thought they were all paying quite good attention.
