Bear in mind that 'undertaking', overtaking on the shoulder side (ie, right in most of Yurp and left in Britain/Ireland) is a crime in many Yurpeen countries. I'm not sure about Russia, but then what driving rules apply there?
But driving clear off the road to undertake is just dumb, not illegal......
There is a lot of insurance fraud in Russia and other nearby countries. People will just walk out in front of cars and the driver is automatically at fault...unless they have the video to prove otherwise. When I'm back in front of my desktop I'll have to search for some of the compilations of pedestrians jumping in front of cars (in Russia).
