Well, I did not bother reading all of your post. Not sure if I still hold the title of most banned, or most aliases banned, or both. Those who have been around long enough should recall some of my antics. Being the chief agitator for Mininuts helped. I believe at least once I was banned from NAM for a post on Mininuts. Pure awesomeness, right there.

Little known secret: I believe our illustrious leader have banned me at least twice under various aliases.

Just like Scottinbend I'm pretty sure I still have a number of accounts active, but just like the rest of the content on the Sewing site, those too are worthless.

 

I lurked there for quite some time before I bought my Mini but never posted beyond an initial introduction. Never liked the vibe there...

 

I'd be leery of the titanium nut implants. If you've got a fine baritone you could impare it.

 

So many rules just waiting to be broken... I guess I've not tried hard enough, but I don't visit there anymore.

 

As had been mentioned by others.....which time

First ban was for, if I remember right, getting snarky with Drew (Motor On) about an infraction regarding a post of some kind. Instead of being adult about it and simply discussing the infraction he proceeded to ban me. Convinced another Mod (maybe Nathan.....lol) to give the poor boy another chance. Proceeded to get bannned again for another reason....forgot what it was as it never really mattered. Got signed up again from work IP, proceeded to get banned again cause they found out it was me. Eventually banning just about all of Deschutes County employees IP's just to make sure I couldn't sign up under another name. Proceeded to sign up again with a proxy server at some time just to promote M/A and guess what.....banned again. I believe I still have a couple of names that haven't been banned yet, but haven't found reason to even visit the site anymore. Not even fun to poke the bees nest anymore.

 

Thinking about this it is all Nathan's fault. Thanks for that Nathan!

 

Interesting reading the info on the link. Equally (if not more) interesting is reading that an individual profiled as being banned from the site is the same individual I was speaking about in my post above. What goes around, comes around... Just don't come around here!

 

I have tried to get banned from there, but for some reason they just wont do it! Hopefully some time this year I can rack up enough points to tell Drew where to stick it!

I feel the same. A year or more now ago, I pointed out the less than stellar workmanship on some aftermarket fiberglass bling. Sheesh, you'd a thought I had just jumped the fence at 1600 Penn.!

Na it's better to be banned and not waste time on the worthless site at all.

 

Still testing, but I think I can confirm that the car might be at least 2 grams lighter after this mod. :idea:
