miniconcarne won the floormats, however he had recently purchased a set. In a selfless act of good will he then sent the set he won to Louispup, eating the postage costs too.

I have to post some photos. Heralding the gift of Grace offered to me by MINICONCARNE.

Coolest thing ever- I came home and found the fedexed MINI Mats!!!! MINICONCARNE, you are the BEST! I am going through some life changes right now and in the process of moving, so I apologize deeply for dragging my heels on this. But my heels LOVE the 5-speed dance on the new Floor Mats! I promise I will post pics, they are gorgeous and factory fresh. And such an improvement.

I'm humbled. Thanks again MINICONCARNE. What a fabulous thing you did!!!!!! What a great community this is!!!!

 

Rough!

Pic of my floormat. I'm a machinist and track through cutting oil/coolant/sanding grit/welding slag/ your basic shop spooge. My poor mat has taken the brunt. I also drive my MINI kinda hard:ihih: (notice the holes forming) They do get cleaned but it doesn't take long for them to look flogged again.



I need a new set because these are the only things on the MINI I haven't tried to Modify, paint, stick, cut open, on the car. A new set would keep me from attempting somethime out of Titanium (as MiniMaybe would say).

The original driver's mat in my 2005 Cooper S has a hole right in the middle....apparently from where I have rested my heel for the past 6+ years. Yesterday my heel went right through the hole as I was trying to brake, the mat got all bunched up under the pedals, and I was doing some fancy maneuvering trying to stop the car and pull the mat out..... needless to say, I really need some new front mats!

As I hope you can see, I'm really in need of a replacement mat for the driver's side.



Lately, I've been using fleece-backed material taped to the bottom so my foot doesn't go through.



But there's still a rut on the top side, where my heel seems to settle.



I'm guessing that's not very safe.



I hope you'll consider my entry. If I'm not careful, could this hole consume my MINI?
