I have seen the Mini OEM "Official" Wind Deflectors for sale on the internet, some have mentioned they are for 2nd generation Minis ..... Did they really change where the holes are from 1st to 2nd Gen? The seat size different or something? Found one advertised for 2nd gen. but I'm wondering if it will fit my R52 1st gen MCS convertible?

We just got a used 2nd gen screen for our 1st gen car, mounts exactly the same. Only difference between them is, the second gen rear seats have a bigger middle bolstering, so the windscreen accounts for that, it opens up just a bit. The first gen screen is flat all the way across. So, when using the 2nd gen screen on a 1st gen car, there is a small gap that allows a tiny bit of air in. Now, since my wife has really long and wispy hair she is extra sensitive about wind, since we added the screen, no wind at all, don't even notice the little bit allowed by the gap. With all the windows up and top down, almost like having the top up

Would definitely order correct deflector for you Mini. Just got a deflector for my 07 convertible and love it. Snaps into place perfectly with no sag or stretch.
