I just replaced my whole passenger window regulator, and there are some adjustments that you might be able to do. I'm not sure why it would just start doing this unless the cable is starting to get pinched - if so then its about $150 part to get it fixed.

When the door is all the way closed and the window is up, the top of the window should be about 3-5mm above the molding. If its higher than that it might catch. To adjust that you have to remove the door panel, and loosen the large white "gear" like nuts holding the window, and adjust the height.

OOhhh yours is a vert - might be different......... sorry - might check anyway.

Aren't you supposed to have the top down anyway?

I had the same problem but with my '02. The service dept said the only fix was to replace the regulator (fortunately it was still under warranty at the time). That was four or five years ago and no problems since.

you know what? it happened to me once but in my case it didn't close enough. lol but my solution is to tap gently on the motor location of on the door panel and it goes. try it before you spend huge money for that :)
