I have the plastic trim pieces under the wipers off and am having hard time making them lay flat in the middle during reinstallation. Any help would help.:confused5:

I waited 24 hour for someone to reply but nothing. This trim needs to come off anytime the battery is changed out. Somebody has to know something.
    Please
    Thanks in advance

I've never had mine off yet, but I assume you are talking about the joint where the two pieces come together in about the center? Are you sure one end doesn't have a clip that is just lifting the edge of the overlap?

I only took one side loose to get to the rubber grommet, not the entire thing. There are some of those pop type clips in the center. I saw a write up on this someplace, that Ben did, but his is a 1st Gen MINI. Sorry.....
