34F, cloudy, perfect day to go the wand-wash. Sprayed down all the paint, spent almost as much time spraying salt crap off the under carriage. Motored home, the place is only a mile away, wiped down door sills, rubber seals, all the glass/lens. Looks better, not great, but my fingers were getting a little numb. Back up in Manitoba, wand-washes are indoors, WITH DOORS. Some are individual bays, some are big open barns with bays, so it's warm inside. Some you put coins into the machine, some you pay by time. The time ones are great, you can wash, dry, and detail for as long as you want. A hour was $6 or so. Some you could get a membership, and it cost less. I need to buy me a wand-wash here in STL and make it right. Mark

I looooooove to hook up my hose to the faucet on the laundry sink in my garage. Which has HOT water. I make it nice and warm for both the wash bucket and the rinse. Helps cut the crud off, and feels sooooo nice in the wash mitt... and it's cool to see your car steaming when it's cold out. When it's really cold, I'll wash in the closed garage with warm water, the sweep the water out when done. My next garage shall have a floor drain.
Forecast for STL today, 42F with abundant sunshine, not just sunny, but an abundance:cornut: It's already 44F in the shade of our carport, so going to do a little spot cleaning, may even get some wheel wax on. Both MINIs are clean, so no need to get the buckets out. Mark
