Redbeard better keep sunscreen on your MINI. It may be safe from salt, but them UV's can really eat the rubber & plastic. What mountain is that in the background?
Hey, I picked up the MINI with 6 miles on the odo Dec 28th 2009. I figure 29K miles in a year is doin pretty good. I had to. I'm sorry. It's Mt Baldy. This photo is north of my office in Chino, CA
Mine is sitting all clean and warm in my little MINI garage I built for her this summer. I put a window in so I can walk up and look in at her without opening up every so often!
Hey motodad307, that's pretty slick. If that was my setup, I'd be putting in my bedroom right next door, and then a beer cooler, and cable with a wide screen TV, and then add an air conditioner and and and......
My wife thought I was crazy when I built on to the shed but now that it is done she thinks I need one on the other side. Maybe I should make her happy then fill it like you said!:cornut: I wouldn't have to walk so far to my truck to go to work then.
For me, I mostly drive it in the winter, unless there's tons of snow, in which case I work from home When the weather's nice I'm on my bike As as result I end up driving about 3000 miles per year
You need to build a building for the Pete and Freightshaker MINI's in the background. Then we can come over and use your building I've been in the heavy truck industry for 34 years.
There is a spot leveled off to the other side for a 60x100 steel building. The weather got us before we could get it up. Should be room for everybody in there! I've been driving 30 yrs and have been waiting on a building for quite awhile but other hobbies have taken priority. Hopefully with all the MINI trips I have planned for this year I can still get my building up.
BROWNSUGAR in winter... December: January: You see the trend. I start her up every few days to keep the juice flowing. In December (before chemistry on roads) I would do a run around the block... I am hoping end of February it's going to be fun again...
You guys who hide your MINI's away for the winter are going to have to do some extra heavy duty motoring to make up for lost time. :yesnod:
