I cleared the snow got the Mini out and drove to Cleveland last night for the Countryman party at Classic Mini. Now she is all dirty and has to get some more attention for being locked up! I haven't driven it for awhile and thought I noticed some body roll so I think I need to do some work before the Dragon:devil:
Good on ya for driving that Clubby to Cleveburg. That body roll may have been cause by uneven distribution of icebergs on the underside of your MINI.
I must confess, I too have a garage queen. It is our 95 Not N MG, roadsters truely suck in the snow. Come on spring!!!
Nope, it doesn't work that way. It is like passing up sex. The next day you can't do it twice and say you made up for the lost chance. Had you not missed the previous day, you would have had it 3 times. A day of motoring missed is a day of motoring lost pure and simple.
My MINI works everyday. Sun, rain or blizzard while the Not N MG slumbers waiting for the perfect top down day.
garage queens or as they are known in the Triumph world, trailer queens are vehicles that are never driven! Now our sleeping MINI's are driven and driven hard when the time is right, and driving around on white, ***** covered roads just ain't right, lol
True. :blush2: It's gonna be 80f today with clear skies and almost no wind. About 50% humidity. In other words: WAAAYYYY Not snow. I plan on running around enjoying my newly installed Riss Racing Exhaust. :cornut:
You can coin any term you want doesn't stop the fact that the TR6 and the MINI will be around long after the road kings have rotted away :cornut: All in fun of course
Well there's gonna be a lot of that going on this week............ Can you say J.......E.......T.........S, Jets Jets Jets! Back to your regularly scheduled thread
we kinda split the answer to this thread 2 ways! My wife uses her Mini (R53), her first year winter driving it here in NEPA, and gets along fairly well...although the amount of salt and grime it collects disturbs me. I also had to rescue her last week in the heart of a snowstorm when she could not climb a steep mountain road. I, on the other hand, recently rented garage space (I wish I had my own garage!) for my Mini (R56) and its first winter...I did drive it through a few winter events before locking it up and the new Conti DSW's were very good.. Now I have to pay the gas prices as I drive around in my old Jeep Wrangler packimocity
This is a Mini billboard in Chicago ... mini countryman ... snow and ice ... and if current blizzard continues the billboard itself might get covered .... library of motoring > BSSP: MINI Countryman billboard
