Just deleted my rear wiper and didn't notice a thread on how-to here.
Here's some pointers to anyone that wants to do this-
Remove this 13mm nut-

Once the nut is all the way lose, give it a turn so it catches some threads, leave the socket on and press the blade off with something like this. Don't bother trying to pry it off.

Onto the inside, remove the 2 star bolts that were here (removed before pic)-
It's hard to see, but there's 8 circled spots where the clips are located. Pop the bottom of the panel off attacking the middle 2 first with a long trim panel tool, then do the 2 outers. Once all 4 bottoms are popped, stick your arm up in there and get the middle first here too. Pop them out with your hands, doesn't take too much pressure, then use your hand to pop the outer 2 after.
Pop off the elec. connection and remove those 3 10mm bolts. Pull rubber hose off before or after, I did it after. Pull off motor, remove the rubber grommet and store all your now un-used wiper assembly-

Plug hose. I used a GM plug from Auto Zone, part number was 458140, Trim Panel Retainer is what it was called on the package- I heated the hose a little to soften it up to jam the plug in-

Plug the window hole with a 1" plug of your choosing, I used this one- http://www.urotuning.com/Rear-Wiper-Delete-Plug-Mk4-Mk5-Mk6-Mk7-Golf-GTi-a-p/uro-wiper-delete.htm -
