That brings up a excellent point. Often times you can get extra life by doing the deep clean/claybar. Your wiper blades can only 'jump' over the accumulated crud so much.

303 Aerospace makes a wiper rejuvination/cleaner product. It comes on a cotton pad like an Alcohol wipe for cleaning skin before an injection, etc. I've found that it will help streaking and will bring some older wipers back, but nothing beats a new set of blades.

    +1 on the 303!

I use it everytime I wash the car. I just apply it to a paper towel.

Cool. I didn't know that they sold the wiper blade treatment in bulk form. This is all I've ever been able to find: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/303-Products-Wiper-Treatment/dp/B002U29OZI"]Amazon.com: 303 Wiper Treatment: Automotive@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41RthcblqbL.@@AMEPARAM@@41RthcblqbL[/ame]

Or are you just applying the 303 Aerospace Protectant directly to the wiper blades?

I guess I'm the odd man out here. While there are rejuvenating products out there I always just replace the bladed when they are no longer optimum. For me it is not enough cost for me to worry about. As for windshield treatments I use Rain X washer fluid & every time I hit the washers I'm putting Rain X on. Probably not optimum, but it's good enough for me. :)

Not odd at all...........just a bit different

    :D

I like the products that you apply to the glass as I can then do all of the windows. Makes it real nice to have the water just bead off as I am driving, makes it easier on the rear wiper, and best of all.........the winter time ice/snow comes off like an egg on a teflon pan!

I ordered the Silblade Premiums last night and they should arrive next week.

    WOOHOO!

There's a local retailer for Aquapel, so I will pick some up in a few days.

Schultze is getting a BRAND NEW windshield this week AND darker tint all the way around (including windshield), so the Aquapel + Silblades should = UTOPIA!

(Work with me here...I am suffering from a horrible headcold, so the small stuff makes me happy right now.)

Gotta try to relieve this sinus pressure!!!:mad2:

If you have a Costco around they usually carry the Aquapel at a real nice price.

And where do you live? I didn't think you could get the windshield tinted anywhere in the states.

I'm in Hampton Roads, VA; I have a medical waiver which allows me to get darker-than-usual tint all the way around, including full windshield + extra dark along the top 6"-8" following the curvature of the windshield.
