I'm leaning towards going back to oem. If tried the beam style blades but the miss a portion of the passenger side, as many are aware of, and while I don't use wipers very often I prefer full and even contact when I do. Does the use of aquapel or rainx improve the lifetime of the factory blades?

Wow! I'll definitely try rainx on my wheels. It seems like I detail my can and the next time I drive it, I begin to see brake dust on my rims. Drives me nuts!

If you dress your tires and make them shinny the overspray attracts the dust also. So make sure you polish / treat your rims after the tires are dressed.

I put tire dressing on my tires before I wax or do the windows because that crap sticks to everything.

Wasn't Honda playing with the air jets about 10 years ago?
Neat concept, but too much to go wrong.

I've been selling and using PIAA blades for years. I really like them and have had great luck with them, haven't seen any that didn't fit the glass.

BUT if you have a new 2013 MINI, including a GP the PIAA blades will not fit the arms. real bummer if you ask me.

Do you PIAA users use additional product such as rainx or aquapel? Also, any need for the spoiler on the sporzas or the super silicones do the job just fine?

I've been using rainx on mine because i clean it pretty often. That being said, I've seen some rainx washer fluid. Have you guys used it or do you use factory washer fluid, or something else altogether?

I just installed first set of Michelin Stealth blades to try, haven't used them in the rain yet.
They're a hybrid of a beam blade and jointed metal blade so they're supposed to fit the windshield better at all angles, have a fairing so they look pretty. We'll see how they work.

FWIW - I always run a 17" blade on the passenger side, instead of the recommended 19".
Solves the "not fitting the curve of the windshield" issue with almost all blades, and has minimal impact on swept area.
