Once you switch to silicone blades, you'll never look back... while wondering why they aren't standard on all cars.
-
if you can still find PIAA silicone "curved" wiper blades/frames (uses regular piaa silicone refills) they work great, and have great coverage....
i have seen the curved in the clearance areas...so they might be getting discontinued as more wipers are made as "mono-blades"....absolute crap imo....but a great way to sell a more $$ product....-

Here it is:

Here's the refills - price is higher here than they used to be - so maybe look elsewhere.
Also - look at the suggested price typo $1504?????

I'll try them out!

Ours would start skipping, sticking, leaving black marks and not working worth a carp. Changing blades would only work for a while, then it would start again. Finally could reproduce the problem at the dealer and they adjusted the arm on the spindles and that has cleared up the problem.
Perhaps you might look at that too and make sure they've got the right amount of pressure on the arms. -
There's good pressure, and where the wipers touch, they clear very well. They are Bosch icons.
It's just not physically possible with the curve of the windshield, to contact the whole area.
Without using a curved blade. -
I've tried those Bosch blades in the past. Now I go with the OEM ones.
-
I just bought a set of PIAA AeroVOGUE blades a couple weeks back. Zero complaints. Got the 18" for the driver's side, 19" for the passenger. there is a little bit of lost contact on the passenger side in the last 2 to 3 inches of travel.... but the blades don't flutter and it doesn't bother me enough to swap the blades.
-
I have always used the Bosch ones.
Although, never had so much curves.... -
I ordered a pair of 20" curved.
