WMW order not delivered at the dragon (Womp, womp)

    Here's the story, I walked to the WMW tent and asked about my order and without asking who I was, they told me my order was not there yet it's somewhere in Fontana Village but not at the tent currently so check back in a few. 2-3 hours later, I came back and I'm told the guy who was supposed to have it didn't even know about it. And so I was told they're going to have to ship it to me. I thought that was pretty cool since they don't know who I was, yet they're able to ship me stuff (I'm assuming that's going to happen through magic :confused5:).

    I'm wondering, has this happened to anyone else?

    I already sent an email first thing yesterday about it but got no response. I will have to call in a few, but does anyone else know how to best get a hold of way motor works about a pre order that was not delivered at the dragon? Maybe there's a specific person I should be talking to? In any case, I thought my experience was worth sharing to everyone just to see if I should rule them out for any future purchase.

    Never had anything but the BEST of service from WMW. They are my go to folks for everything. I'm sure it was just a simple mix up. Way will make it right.

    I hope so, I had such high hopes, I see them being very active on the forums. This is also my first order from them EVER so there goes that first impression.

    They'll get back to ya, probably overwhelmed with emails and calls since being away at MOTD.

    Alright, all of the Miniacs taking Way's side is actually making me feel better. I'll be a good boy and patiently wait for a response. I hope you all are right.

    My experience with that vendor was not good at all. Will never do business with them again. Got my order quickly, but it was followed by a very, very bad customer service attitude after the sale when I asked for installation advice. Part of the response read, "we don't include installation instructions to avoid liability and lawsuits".......

    The OP asked for experiences with this vendor and I relayed my experience/opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

    I have ordered stuff from Way, most recently the dipstick he had on special, and although he can be frustrating, he's also helped me out a few times, and I'd definitely buy from him again. One thing I've learned--NEVER order anything around MOTD unless it's an emergency. All the vendors are plugged to gills, and very few of the MINI vendors, save for guys like Aaron at Outmotoring, are well organized--they're all relatively small operations. It'll get sorted out, but there is a huge backlog this time of the year, and not just for Way.

    I got a call from Waylen today, he sounds pretty reliable and was honest about what really happened. My faith in him is restored.

    I and several other local club members have ordered from Way a bunch. Never an issue. Stuff happens, but I'd feel better dealing with Way than 90% of the folks out there. I bet you'll be fine.

    I ordered a set of front pads from WMW on the Monday of MOTD. The timing was out of necessity, this was not planned. They were packaged and shipped and arrived at my doorstep by following week. No issues whatsoever!

    You make it seem as though Way makes EBC red pads.... Not really his fault for shotty quality on EBC's part.

    Nah, we ALWAYS blame the vendor. It's playground rules, and we love them.
