Perfect evening in Central Ohio. Firepit will be burning, red wine will be pouring and about 9:30 we'll start watching the sky for the space station going over. We first spotted it last Thursday night and have seen it every night since then. Pretty cool!

 

What does the space station look like?

 

It looks like really,really bright landing lights on a very large aircraft. With binoculars you can see a lot of detail, solar panels are quite visible.
Beside the moon it is the second brightest object in the night sky.

Saw it Thursday evening just as the moon was rising.

 

+1 It moves across the sky at a pretty good pace...

Oh and I forgot to say, as it passes over it smells like an campfire on an October evening...
