Unfortunately the world has "gotten bigger" and people are able to slip through the cracks and move all over and keep Sh^tting in a new place where no one knows you.
Its rare but not gone. One of the guys that sales Indian parts still operates the old way. You call him if he has the part he sends it to you, if you like the part you mail him some money if not you send the part back.
I tell my kids, no matter what you have in life you only own one thing, thats you word and you are only as good as your word.
