Compass use.

Also gets you out of areas using a compass....when you are lost. :nonod:

 

We use triangulation here in the shop when we are laying out all the bends for making duct work for square to rounds and various elbows from flat sheet..... Not many people know how to do the "old school" layout anymore...... But we do.....

 

I used it to to place (or fix) items in a crime scene sketch, in order to duplicate the scene if necessary.

^^ Ah yes, the old "chalk outline" trick. Actually guns were tricky. They required three triangulated points, where almost everything else only needed two.
