    I've recently learned that Chad of Detroit Tuned and White Roof Radio will be there giving the event full coverage via Pod Cast!

    this was my first all Mini trip, and I loved every second of it, too bad that we didn't beat the record but we made some new one's. i will definitely be there next year too...

    We had so much fun with these MINI folk also...we drove from St. Louis, no issues, and spent Friday night in Mackinaw City, Saturday night in St. Ignace. Brought passports to help us get the "My Midwest MINI has been to Canada" merit badge, and made that 100-mile round trip on Saturday afternoon.

    Made a bunch of new acquaintances; including our entire lunch table on Saturday. Enthusiastic Michigan MINI owners, yet: a) had never heard of MINI Takes the States, b) were not on any forum, and c) had heard of the Mac event at the last minute, through friends. All of them gladly took down website info and so forth.

    So there's room, still, for some publizicing and evangelizing of all this stuff among MINI owners!

    I didn't take too many photos, but have this online album of them (and a couple that I swiped from all the FB postings). I was really thankful that someone had thought to screen-shot the Mac Bridge live webcam during our crossing, that's a fun one to have!
