World's quickest & fastest street legal MINI without nitrous

All I can say is:::::

Really great. A street legal non-nitrous Mini doing a 12 sec 1/4 mime. "WOW"

I really liked this video and it goes to prove a front wheel drive car driven correctly is still a pretty good drag racer.

I know there are faster Mini's but the key words are "STREET LEGAL""

its a Gareett Disco Potato ........back up to Santa Pod today see if he can go quicker than that 12.4

Yes, but was Kav's street legal?

There are so many factors here with this one and that one and another one all claiming fastest around or down XYZ track that it's darn near impossible to believe any of them.

All I have to say is it is good to see people out and about and still trying to push the envelope with both the 1st and 2nd Gen MINI.

 

I guess the lap doesn't count if you hit a cone?

Those would be gone by the end of the first session of a DE.

You're right .....you can hit them in the 1hr practice session but not the 2 hot laps

 

KAV was on slicks so he wasn't street legal in our country :biggrin5:

Richard only has to find another 3/10ths and he'll move to 2nd fastest FWD then we will have 2 MINI's in the top spot

So Sunday it was back up the Pod..........unfortunatley to many oil downs and 2 x drivers who couldn't get there act togeather

But Richard pulled one out the bag in the end.

If you took Richards 0-330ft of 5.2739 and last weeks 330ft to 1320ft of 6.9508 you have a 12.1797

 

Word street legal is a little tricky.

Most MINI's from states and UK aren't street legal (no matter what tyres) in our country or Switzerlend or....so what is street legal actually then?
