Since the Mini is dressed in race garb, let's do the same to the Type 181. 1915cc motor and a paintjob and I am all about it!

Nothing like stacking the deck.... Real Mini BMW MINI (even though I've owned a R53 before, I really don't like the Boxster) Where does the RX-7 GTU fit into the semi-finals?
This is the first match-up in this series that I had to think about. I really like all 4 cars. The classis MINI was an easier selection over the 914, not so much for the driving experience--which is a little bit balky for both cars--but more for the cool factor when rolling into a C-n-C. The Boxster vs. R53 is harder. Bone-stock, I'd take the Boxster. It's a great car that's fun to drive, you can drop the top, the motor is quiet but sounds amazing. Knowing me, I'd mod the hell out of an R53--and a well-modded R53 is just a funner, more visceral car than an Boxster, so... Classic MINI R53.
I like the Cockster but gotta go double mini for double the fun. Just never did like the lines of that Porsche.
