Stratos & A110 Alpine here too.

    IMHO they are all winners.

Stratos. I hate to admit it, but I once owned a Lancia Scorpion. To a twenty-something, a Lancia is basically a Ferrari, which made me basically Jean Alesi. I'll be signing autographs at the Dragon. Anyway, I have an irrational soft spot for Lancias.

I'd like to own both of them. The Stratos won the coin toss that's why it got my vote. :)

It has to be running, drivable and I have to see the ad for proof. It can be street or race.

Remember what happens at MOTD in the mountains stays in the mountains.

*unless you are stupid and get caught on video doing it.

This one is tough, the Audi looks like it suffers from the new MINI design team, well when they where still sleeping wrapped in a scarf in their racecar beds...

On the other hand you have the Pug... At least it still resembles the car it was built from, and doesn't rely on aero to be fast.

    I'll check back later...

Man that's a good match-up. I'm going to have to go with Audi, but where I grew up, the 205 GTIs were the hottest of hatches.

Heck man I want them both! This is tough for me.

I flipped a coin & I'm going sideways in my Escort. :arf:

I'm with Crashton! Its a hard toss up again...

You've got the Lancia thats more bruit force point it in the general direction, stomp the pedal, and hope it goes there...

Or the Escort which os more nimble and less darty.

Which one would I want to drive...

I'm going with the Ford... No need for me to turn a priceless relic of a Lancia, into a worthless pile of rubble!

I'm voting for the Escort because for me it just represents a time when rally cars basically looked like the cars people drove daily.

If you've ever heard an Audi rally car at full chat spitting flames on the up shift 20 feet from where you're standing you'd pick it for the sound alone. In comparison a Subaru sounds like a farting lawnmower, but a damn fast one. :D
I think of the Audi as the grandad of all the awd rally cars that came after.

I like Subaru rally cars, but I love the Stratos.

I want to channel my inner Sandro Munari so Stratos it is. :D

Yes the Subaru is a better rally car in every way that counts except one. The Stratos is a beauty with a Ferrari V6 stuffed in the back & a legend.

This is sort of an unfair match up, they are rally cars from different eras.

For me the DS3 is one heck of a rally car, but it is just a hatchback on steroids. It has no beauty. The A110 is a beauty for sure.
