The bracket is done. I went through the lists that people left here, and made a few additions and modifications, based partially on Top Gear's 50 Best cars of the last 20 years, and Edmunds 100 Greatest Cars of All Time. I went through and ranked each car, 1 to 5 based on a couple of criteria: the car got a high ranking if it was a usable daily driver as well as a exciting vehicle. Some cars (like the LaFerrari) got high rankings because it's a ridiculously insane hypercar so **** you:biggrin5:. I also biased a couple cars (GP 1, M Coupe) higher than others would because I wanted to--it'll all wash out in the end. I then entered all of the cars into Challonge (a bracket generator) and allowed the seedings to fall as they may.

Here's how it works: you can view the bracket on Challonge, but we'll play here. I'll select a few match-ups and you declare the winners. The first to vote get to lobby their choices and unfairly influence other players. Cheating and insults are encouraged.

The first three match-ups are the play-in round. Here they are: you must select one in each match up.

Dodge Omni GLHS vs. Ford Focus ST

Ford F-250 Diesel vs. Ford Fiesta ST

Renault 5 Turbo vs. VW Classic Beetle.

    Vote away.

WOW that's a nice bracket with a lot of tough choices. I know that none on the first 3 will make it past the second round. :p

    Ford Focus ST
    Ford F-250 Diesel
    VW Classic Beetle

I'll have you neophytes know I owned a Yugo! I payed $750 for it and it looked like new. I sold it a year or two later for $750. It ran like a top the hole time, never let me down!

Of course I never drove to far from home. :blush2:

I heard that the fiat 500L is made in the old Yugo plant  ...think it was said on motor week...not sure it is 100% correct, but the quality fit+finish and panel gaps on the 500L was said to live up to the plants "historical" standards if I recall right....made me wish I had it recorded on the DVR just to laugh like heck!!
For some the "worst" cars around are the best,1) cause you own them, 2) you got lucky...
When I see threads about folks saying they spent $12,000 in repairs in 3 years on a MINI I wonder how the mini will be looked back upon....

Back in the middle 90's, there was a Yugo with a lift kit, monster truck style, that was in the Hartford CT area that a guy was using as a daily driver....was pretty interesting looking!!

    Dave-O:

"If I'm curt with you it's because time is a factor. I think fast, I talk fast and I need you guys to act fast if you wanna get out of this. So, pretty please... with sugar on top. Clean the f@cking car."

    Back to the bracket...

Whelp, there goes my baby the Clownshoe. Lost by 2. Had it been one, I would have voted the tie for a playoff with heavy lobbying. I guess it's no shame to lose to the top-of-the-line Aston Martin. What's more amazing, and a credit to this group's genuine interest in cool cars, is that the Cossie handed the MINI GP2 a defeat. None of these match-ups were won by more than two votes, I'll enter the winners in the bracket, and here are today's deathmatches:

    MK 7 GTI vs. Pantera

2013 Subaru WRX STI Hatch vs. 1st Gen. Miata

    1959 Ferrari 250GT vs. Ford RS200

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. 1977 Datsun 280z
