Gotta give 'Murican engineering credit: the Vette gave a good fight to the Italian hypercar. Having grown up in a MK1 GTI, I can sympathize with the votes for that pure bred $hitbox. I consider it the spiritual ancestor to the R50. That having been said voting against the Singer is like underestimating a fart in white jeans: a mistake. If you need any convincing, please watch the world's greatest automotive bard wax poetic about Singer.

True Lancia is a Fiat (Fix It Again Tony) but so is a Ferrari. It's all about the passion. Some people think we're nuts for loving a British car.-

Both of the Ferrari's!
Dont want a hopped up Beetle or a failed sports car with an over size engine from Detroit.-

I don know. Back in the 80's when I worked on Fiats, Lancia and Alfas you just can't belive the crap other shops and people would do to their cars then blame it in the car. It was not uncommon for us to get cars that would run hot because of an air bubble. They would go to a service station and the morons would hot wire the fan. They thought it should run all the time. So a cheep fix now caust some money.
Later the shop was sold and the owner went to work for a dealer that sold Maserati and several other brands. He asked me to come work there. They had had one Masereti mechanic that quit. It turns out he was putting silicone on rubber gaskets and tinghting the snot out of them. Every car leaked like a sieve. Everyone at the dealer was bad mouthing the cars because of this idiot! Once all this was undone they had very little problems.-

The Ferrari would sound so nice but for every day driving and track fun, the 911 has to get my vote.-
