I'll have to vote Mustang as well.

Also, a suggestion for Mr. M. Father: let each round sit for 24 hours so that everybody gets a chance to vote.

You can get a Mustang GT V8 for under 35K, why would you ever buy a 6 banger?

Its a turbo 4! All comes down to weight and power delivery... A friend has pretty much the same engine in his Mazdaspeed 6, pushing just under 400 HP (uncorrected at 5000 feet) for less than $5K in parts!

I actually thought about getting one, but I remembered we have this thing called weather here in CO... Good power+RWD (or even FWD)+snow/ice for 5 months out of the year is a NO-GO!

But being a game where we are fictionally buying a car to fictionally modify the car....

If you are buying an American MUSCLE CAR it MUST have a V8 or larger.

The 4 & 6 bangers are tree hugger versions of a muscle car with all looks and none of the sound or power of the big V8's. They also get tree hugger high MPG unlike a true MUSCLE Car versions that get between 10 and maybe 20 MPG but will rip the tires off when you mash the gas.

    Wrx.

That juke is one ugly mother.

    Edit.
If we are allowed to mod the crap out of it, I would take the mod funds, trade it back in on an STI. White with gold oz wheels. Light tint, turbo timer, done.

CM for me. Already own one that is the wife's car. If mine it would be black with black wheels and all chrome blacked out. Tint the windows and drive it as a daily.

Cant trade it, but upgrading a WRX to better than STi specs isn't that hard.

The Juke isn't just ugly, you cant even get an AWD one with a real transmission! However we have no mod budget, just a cap on the price of the car... So you could in theory build your own Juke R out of it. ;)

I'll take the WRX. :D I wish it was a hatch, but for gravel road fun I'll sacrifice the utility of the hatch.

I'll add some suspension that buys me a bit of ground clearance plus slap some skid plates & narrow gravel tires on. Then I'll head to the forest roads for some opposite lock fun..... :arf:

Only one vote per person counts Crashton, but thats enough to bring the Subi back next week if nothing changes. ;)

I like the 370's looks way more than the old 350... They coulda done the BMW/MINI thing, and noticed the Juke wasnt selling, and start putting the Juke front end on EVERYTHING! :(

You say the MX5 is down on power, until you have somebody swap in a single turbo 13B REW... :D the smile never ends with one of those in a Miata!
