Ok so we have our winner for the second round...
The Hyundai Veloster Turbo ! With 5, followed by the Civic Si with 3, and one for well at least it was a VW... Oh yeah there was a fourth car! The Toyota got what it deserved NO VOTES!
So for the next round we have 4 ENTRY LEVEL (NO V8's ((yet)) RWD coupes.
Starting off with.... ..
A V6 Camaro! Coming in at $29,205
Or for an extra $95
The new 2.3L Turbo Mustang, which is actually decently priced at $29,300! (It should hold its value for a few weeks)
Or if you ever wanted to be at the top of the trailer park food chain... How about a new Challenger! With a 3.8V6...
Yet its still going to cost you $30,685!
Or
A Hyundai Genesis Coupe for those times when a mullet just wont do?
I was disappointed they dropped the turbo 4, now they are all the V6 that has always been slower and had a higher price. Now they are up to $33,400 making it the most expensive car of the day.
So pick your car... Only one! Or maybe Dave still has room in his basket...![]()

Nobody wants a sweet V6? Yeah I dont blame you, a muscle car is no place for a grocery getter motor!
Eric, I do 10:00 PM (mountain time) to 10:00 PM. Yesterday I was about to can it, because of all the crybabies, so it was a late start... Dont feel bad though, the FWD's will be back in a few days. -

Oh and the Ford V8 comes detuned down to 435 HP and 400 Tq stock.
Just think what you would make with a Headers, Exhaust, Intake, larger TB and a performance tune before a Supercharger is added.
Oh and not to mention all the upgrades would be a lot cheaper since the aftermarket is huge for the new Stang.
If it all fictional weather does not matter. -

Agreed!
However with the new Muffstain's chassis, there isn't much "Muscle Car" left... They actually handle decently well, and having a lighter engine up front to even out the weight distribution helps it in that area more.
I can see people taking the new version of the 2.3 up past 1000HP in the near future. -

Either way, in under 5 hours all but one of these selections will be gone for good, and the first round of AWD cars comes in...
Its looking like the second cheapest car with the smallest engine is going to take it... Unless we get swamped by votes for the Camaro. -

Last call!
I'm adding up all the Mustang's votes, and getting ready to post the next round, so if you haven't voted do it now... -

Allrighty then, the Mustang EcoBoost 2.3L turbo takes it (as I expected) with 9 votes.
Then there was the TWO votes for the Hyundai. Its still a decent car, they shoulda just kept the turbo 4.
And both V6 excuses of American Muscle got nothing! But that is well deserved, for an extra $100 a month they coulda been the real thing.
This isn't the first time a turbo 2.3L has been in the engine bay of a mustang... There was the SVO back in the late '80s, and it turned out the 2.3 was faster than the 5.0GT sitting next to it in the showroom. I see the new one going a good ways with aftermarket support.
On to the next round.... Would you rather, buy and build:
A Subaru WRX sedan, which starts at $26,295, so if you want to add some option packages theres plenty of room...
Or:
An Audi A3 sedan. Starting at $29,900 these things start out expensive, and keeping the price under $35K is near impossible!
Or:
The Nissan Juke Nismo with AWD.
The seats are pretty sweet, but $30,000 for something that looks like a frog? They are different though, and there has to be somebody out there making them fast...
Or:
Our first MINI!
The Countryman S All-4, starts at $31,000 and we know how fast the base price jumps when we start adding things...
There they are, what one of these AWD cars under $35K would you buy and build? -

Dont forget to add what you would do with it...
Build it for rallying, road racing, maybe that Ken Block gymkhana type sh------stuff...
Or maybe you would just add a few mods and use it as a weather beater? -
N2MINI MINI of the Month
Audi A3: just to have a nice ride that I don't want to do anything too, other then tint the windows. Frog car doesn't look as bad in Black, WRX just doesn't do it for me. Almost took the Countryman to have a "bad weather" vehicle but so far this winter no bad weather here..
-
Of these 4 I would go with the CM (in that exact color). I don't really like sedans and the interior is cramped in the Juke. I would probably look at doing some suspension mods and possibly an engine tune.

I'm voting CM
Had the WRX, like the Juke but hate CVT, and the A3 would be plain for $35k
