So I tried to find pictures of a decently modified Juke... After an hour of searching, I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing that can help that thing in the looks department!

I am kinda surprised by the amount of votes for the R60, I figured the WRX would dominate this round! If I could vote, the Subi would be getting it... Even though I just bought an R60 as a daily. :)

I gotta cast my vote for the WRX. I've test driven a Juke Nismo 2WD, and it's not bad. It's tall, but it handles much better than it has any right to, and it's fun to drive. It drives better than the new Civic Si to me.

The choices included the Juke Nismo AWD...no way. Nissan makes you take the CVT with the AWD. If the Juke had a 6 speed, it'd be a harder choice for me. The thing is just plain fun to drive.

Let's see if Dave changes his mind once he discovers the CVT....

Seriously Dave... Youre giving up your gem of a bike... For a crossover that looks like a frog?

Well at least all 4 cars got at least one vote today! I doubt we will have that problem tomorrow (well later tonight) when the "Specialty" cars get posted...
I am thinking it's going to be a close one to end the first complete round of the bracket... ;) (Yes its finally time to put up the cars we actually want to build!) :D

    Last call!

It is real close between the R60+4, and the WRX! So vote now before 3 of these cars get wiped off the grid! :)

(Funny fact here, I tossed around a lot of ideas about a replacement for the Jeep... In the end it was between an '09 STi wagon, and the Porker...:))

OK I'll vote WRX another time.

And WRX once more. Let me know how many more votes it needs Dick & I'll vote some more. :D

Oh Dave O, what's happened? :nonod:

The final numbers for the day are...

The Juke with one... (From Dave.0)

The Audi A3 with two... (Was Dave's suggestion)

The winner was separated by one vote... And the WRX takes it with 6 to the Countryman's 5!

Plus Dave gave up his sweet ride, and is now stuck with a Nismo Frog with a over size snowmobile transmission, unless he continues to vote. And his previous ride is up for grabs... I am sure that it is thoroughly cleaned and has low miles if anybody wants it?

    Now the bad news...
Pic's aren't working for me right now! :( I would put up a pic of the message that keeps popping up but.... Yeah. :(

Anyhow, I will add the pic's tomorrow when it works again.

For the last of the first run, its time for the "special" cars under $35K!

Would you rather buy and modify:

A Mazda MX5 (Miata) which is $27,550 the way I have it configured...

    Or:

A Scion FRS with all the TRD options at a cost of $31,844...

    Or:

A MINI JCW Coupe, with no options it is going to almost be over budget at $33,250!

Or our most expensive and the only one with a V6...

The Nissan 370Z sport. Its a mid grade Z and will set you back $33,570 as a base price.

There they are, 1 FWD, 1 V6, 1 with more than two seats, and all 4 of them are good looking FUN cars! Pick the one you would modify to suit you! :)

I see the TRD options don't include the supercharger.

    So I'm voting 370Z

It was down between the MINI and a Z when I was shopping last time.

The Z is a mean mother F56'er once the motor isnt held back by its power limiting factory parts and tune!

Yep no TRD S/C optioned on the FRS, but what you do to it when it is off the dealer lot... Thats all up to you! Turbo it, S/C it, engine swap it... Money outside of the $35K limit on the cars is nothing here!
