There's not a bad choice in the lot this time around, but I think I'd take the MINI JCW coupe.

I have an NA Miata, but really don't car for the later NC as much. There is a saying that the NC is a better car, but the NA is a better Miata. That being said for a day driver I'd take........
The FRS/BRZ. Nice balanced handling in a tin top coupe. I could be happy behind the wheel. -
R58 JCW!
-
Scion FRS. It will get suspension, exhaust, and engine mods.

Just a reminder, the Hyundai Veloster will be back tonight with the next round of FWD's under $35K...
Look for it at my normal posting time, or wait until tomorrow... Just a game no rush. -

Moving on to the second week...
Back up are the ever unpopular FWD's. I personally dont care for any of them in particular, but it has to be done.
With a Hyundai Veloster turbo returning as last weeks FWD winner and at a price of $22,500 do we keep and modify this?
Or do we move on to:
A Ford Festiva ST. At a cost of $21,365 for a base price, I would take one if we could just get it with 2 doors! Why does Europe get all the good ones.
Or do we get a new MINI to build? The S starts at $24,950 and goes up quick. And they look good at the lake... Or in it!
And lastly... Well let me start by saying "There just really isnt many good options out of there" I had to fill the slot, and was kinda surprised with these. They are actually kinda nice!
A KIA Optima SX Turbo. Hey its got 274HP, will get you to 60 in 6 seconds stock and has a pretty nice interior. Only drawbacks are the slushy box, and that its not also offered as a coupe.
There they are, keep the Hyundai or pick one of the new 3 to have and modify until next week... -

A good Ford Motorsport tune on that ST makes it that much better, and keeps things covered under warranty! Plus the Fiesta ST in my opinion is more fun to drive than the Focus ST. (An army buddy traded his WRX for one when they came out.)

I'll take the catfish-mouth MINI. I think its overall performance and driving experience would at least equal those other cars. The Ford would be pretty neat, but would it be a better experience than the MINI? I doubt it. The Veloster is unique in that love-interest-for-a-droid kind of way, but nahh. The Kia family sedan is, well, a family sedan.

Mini Cooper for me. However, it does looks like a big mouth bass.
