Both are ugly in their own ways to me, but the one I could kinda see me driving made it.

Both dominated their first rounds, and I am expecting it to be a close race...

This is a tough choice for me but I pick the:

I had a 4 cyl jeep many years ago. Since then I have had a Camaro Z28 and a couple Mini Coopers so it is really time to go back to a Jeep. However, I am looking at this contest as if this had to be my car to daily drive and I would sell my Mini. I have to have a vehicle I can Auto-X so the vote goes to the Mustang. The Jeep and Mini would be a great combination of cars but I do not think I could get my wife to give up her 2012 Subaru Outback for a 2-door Jeep. The Outback is just to nice for the long drives.

I was at the bar, because I had a pretty good day... Got to throw some scum into the jail cell they belong in on my lunch break, so I cant complain!

Haven't added up the votes, but with the last minute Larry's the Jeep only got 2 votes... Thanks!

So the Mustang gets the advancement into the final 2, not complaining because it is one bad ass car! But going against the 2015 WRX, I can see who the winner is going to be!

So, would you rather buy:

The new 5.0 GT Mustang.



Or:

The Subaru WRX, that is now on the same aesthetic level as a Toyota Camry.



If I could vote, it would be for the 5.0... But thats just me, and it doesn't count unless the slim possibility of a tie comes into play!

Heres the deal, I have been planning a "Bonus" round from the start...
At some point tomorrow, as I am getting the engine bolted into the Rat-MINI I will take a break, and post that bonus round, so it wont cut anybody's weekend too short...

It is worth sticking around for... Remember, there is one more winner that hasn't reappeared in this challenge, and something the true DIY, build it without the shop's help, $35K car left out.
